TRAVIS GARLAND, “Motel Pool” (video)
“Motel Pool” signals a return to a proper damn sexy music video. It has a great build up, shots of a couple of lovely bodies, and of course romance in the title place of choice, very well directed and edited. “Motel Pool” also solidifies my thoughts from throughout 2013 that Travis Garland is one of the most important unsigned performers to watch. His self-titled album, which includes “Motel Pool” among its diverse selection of R&B/pop, is one of my Top 5 favourites of the year. “Motel Pool” is also from the four song EP of the same name, due December 17, which includes two ‘B-sides’.
