FFS, “Call Girl”
A project that seems to be sliding under the radar, though receiving raves particularly from Franz Ferdinand fans, is FFS’ self-titled album, released earlier this year. I wrote about the partnership between Franz Ferdinand and the classic brothers Sparks earlier this year for the first single “Johnny Delusional”. Digging deeper into the album, a new video for “Call Girl” has surfaced. And while “Johnny Delusional” may have seemed more inspired by Sparks, “Call Girl” is classic Franz Ferdinand melody and video-wise. But the collaboration has this uniquely weird and inspired synergy between both lead singers and the results are definitely on-point. Give it a watch above.
