NATHAN SYKES, “Give It Up” featuring G-EAZY
As readers of this blog know, “Kiss Me Quick” by Nathan Sykes was one of my favourites of last year. I enjoyed how this best-kept-secret from The Wanted stepped into a slick crooner role. He took a step away from that style with his ballad “Over and Over Again”, which was transformed into a duet with Ariana Grande. But what both songs have in common is that they became huge worldwide club hits. So Nathan slides back as a crooner with a sexy video for “Give It Up”, featuring rising star G-Eazy, and the song I expect will also become a club floor filler – remixers get ready! Nathan makes this a light, breezy affair and it’s no wonder that he is achieving incredible success outside of The Wanted. “Give It Up” is a solid prelude to Nathan Sykes’ upcoming album and hits all platforms on Friday May 13.
