It’s wonderful to report that Swedish sensation Agnes (Carlsson) now has the current #1 U.S. Dance Club Play hit, according to billboard.com with the beautiful and well-sung “Release Me”. The song went to #3 in the UK in the summer, and hopefully is now poised for pop crossover success in North America. I was fortunate to find out about it earlier in the year, so it spent an appearance at #1 on my personal chart (hint: link to the right!) for the two weeks beginning February 16, 2009.
