DANA & THE WOLF, “Attitude” (free DL)
Back to shake you up some more after I wrote about “Close Enough” in November is L.A. duo Dana & The Wolf. “Attitude” is slick but edgy alt.rock with an EDM backdrop that seems to have some 80’s influences particularly in Dana Hobson’s voice, as thoughts of Joan Jett or Pat Benatar keep entering my head when I listen. Like with “Close Enough”, “Attitude” gets better as it goes along, so by the time *expletive injected* arrives you’ll be raising your fist and pumping along as the song’s grittiness sinks in for good courtesy of production by partner Daniel Wolf. “Attitude” is refreshing, spirited and full of potential for Dana & The Wolf with some creative photography in the artwork as you check out the song and get it for free for now at the above link.
