TWO FRIENDS, “Take It Off”
Continuing a steady stream of original songs for L.A.’s Two Friends (Matt and Eli) is “Take It Off”. Not surprisingly, it’s a light-hearted blast guaranteed to make you bounce on the dance floor. But this one is also a smart pop tease, with absolutely the right choice of (uncredited) female vocal to make it work. The sound of Two Friends has grown immensely in the last four years. They add spot-on hooks and a variety of crisp keyboard sounds that make their music unmistakably identifiable. And you know when Two Friends release a song that you’re gonna have a great time. What more can you ask? “Take It Off” is fun and infectious ear candy.
Two Friends are playing a show tonight (February 15) at Toybox Nightclub in Toronto and I wouldn’t miss it 🙂
