Emirati dance producers @Revelriesmusic team up again with L.A.’s @SamSmyers for the deep house of “Give It All Up”

REVELRIES and SAM SMYERS, “Give It All Up”

Hypnotic rhythms and a sultry male vocal lead the way in “Give It All Up”, the latest release by Emirati dance producers/songwriters Revelries and L.A. producer/songwriter Sam Smyers. These guys are make it all sound easy with the slick sounds of “Give It All Up”. They previously released one of my favourite tracks of 2018 “Don’t Think Twice” (with vocalist Oktavian, reaching #2 on my personal chart), and have had other solid collabs since like “End Up Like That”. And making it easy doesn’t mean there’s a boring formula, this is simply high quality work – knowing how to make a winning vocal, a brisk house rhythm, and a regretful story of infatuation all gel together – that stands out and will immediately grab your attention.

Emirati production duo @Revelriesmusic deliver another house banger with “Pulling Me Down”

REVELRIES, “Pulling Me Down”

Right on the heels of their recent single “Heatwave”, which has already clocked up over three million streams on Spotify alone, Emirati duo Revelries delivers another high quality house banger with the rock-flavoured “Pulling Me Down”.  This one’s about decisively cutting ties from a relationship that was increasingly becoming toxic, always an important lesson to learn in retrospect, but hard to figure out as it is happening. But its brisk house rhythm mirrors the sucker punches that we take over and over again as the Billy Corgan-sounding vocal by the uncredited male singer unfolds the tale. Revelries continue to release intriguing songs with often uncharacteristic themes or arrangements. “Pulling Me Down” has plenty of food for thought, but its affecting chorus and fast pace will work well for clubs.

Emirati dance production duo @Revelriesmusic are back with the zesty house of “Heatwave”

REVELRIES, “Heatwave”

It’s been a hot moment since we’ve had music from Revelries, the Emirati dance producers who really hit their stride in 2019-20 with creative bangers like “Don’t Think Twice” (which reached #2 on my personal chart), “Fall-Out” (also #7 on my chart) and “End Up Like That”).  “Heatwave” doesn’t miss a step, a zesty house track that could fit in so well with any mid-evening house set in a club.  The uncredited female vocal is a fine match for the deep rhythms and beats, and Revelries are so good at always adding other sounds discretely into the mix that you don’t really notice how effective they are at rounding out the song until after two or three listens.

Solid, emotional electronica from Emerati @Ruchirmusic featuring NYC’s @iamDeverano with “Made Of Gold”

RUCHIR featuring DEVERANO, “Made Of Gold” (free DL)

“Made Of Gold” is a song whose infectious calling card is its drop-led instrumental chorus that follows the title words.  That’s not to say that the song is all about the hook.  Emerati producer Ruchir builds the fascination and emotion of the song smoothly to that drop.  It’s carried by Staten Island vocalist Deverano’s earthy vocal that is caught up in the moment to draw everyone in.  “Made Of Gold” is the kind of song that could have been sung by a big belter but it would become less about the song and more about the vocal in that format.  Club DJ’s will dig “Made Of Gold” and can easily showcase that big hook in a late night mix.  Download “Made Of Gold” for free while you can at the link above.
